What we design and install
MATV is where Signal Master started in Darwin in 2007, and it is still the work body corporates and hotel managers call us for when the whole building has a picture problem. We design headends properly, document the distribution and leave the system serviceable.

Common questions about matv, antenna & tv distribution
What is the difference between MATV and SMATV?
MATV (master antenna television) distributes free-to-air TV from one antenna system to every outlet in a building. SMATV adds satellite reception, typically Foxtel, into the same distribution so each unit or room can receive both.
Are you Foxtel approved?
Yes. Signal Master is a Foxtel MDU approved contractor for multi-dwelling distribution systems and a Foxtel for Business approved installer for hotels and other accommodation businesses.
Some apartments get a poor picture. Do we need a whole new system?
Usually not. Most building-wide problems trace to a failing amplifier, water in a splitter or a rooftop fault. We test the headend and distribution first and quote the repair before recommending replacement.
